Spring in Manhattan

Yesterday I was walking around the West Village in the rain looking for the Corner Bistro and was struck by how beautiful and spring like everything appeared. Low lighting, raindrops, cool air, blossoming trees and the prospect of a delicious burger. What could be better? Well, I didn’t get the burger, but this photo of the corner on West 4th and 12th Street is a nice reminder of a lovely evening.

Great shot Linnea! I’m glad warmer weather is on the way.

Yes, the elusive disappearing-reappearing Corner Bistro does have good burgers, but not as good as they make it out to be on “How I Met Your Mother”

Sorry we didn’t get the burger, but it was a very nice walk.

Beautiful! And really funny, b/c I just took a picture down the same street last week! Except the sun was setting and no rain….

I’m jealous! I want Spring! I woke up to a foot of snow this morning and it’s still falling. The picture is gorgeous, it captures the mood exactly.
